Harris NEXIO server proves popular with Egyptian broadcasters

Harris NEXIO servers form the core of new playout facilities for five of Egypt’s leading broadcasters: Asila, a media production company; ON TV, a news channel; Moga TV, the first Egyptian specialty comedy channel; Aamal Establishment, for its two new channels, Aamal business channel and Al-Amaken drama channel; and Al-Saeeda TV, a private Yemeni satellite channel.

These facilities also incorporate a variety of additional Harris broadcast technology products — including Panacea routers, 6800+ core processing equipment and Inscriber RTX broadcast graphics systems — enabling a streamlined workflow. All of the facilities are located in 6th October City, Egypt.
