Harris brings advanced media workflows ‘to life’ at IBC2009

At IBC2009, Harris will provide access to a team of industry experts on the show floor who will explain how any broadcast operation can implement a cost-effective, revenue-generating advanced media workflow.

Around the booth, some of the main topics Harris will address include advanced media workflows, HD and 3Gb/s-ready infrastructure, Launchpad and multiplatform delivery. The Harris stand will feature the European debut of the Launchpad master control environment, which uses the full breadth of the Harris portfolio’s interoperable capabilities to allow content preparation for playout to a multitude of distribution methods. During the show, Harris workflow experts will demonstrate how Launchpad enables broadcasters to efficiently manage the outputs of their rapidly increasing channels, reduce operating costs per channel, and improve output quality to increase overall advertising revenues and promote rich image branding and viewer loyalty.
