Florical introduces S.M.A.R.T. Central

Florical Systems, a specialist in TV automation systems, has introduced S.M.A.R.T. Central, a new Web-based gateway to the company’s automation system.

The new feature allows users to log into a Florical automation system and, based upon the unique user’s pre-assigned authorization, enables the monitoring of all controlled channels in the network. Authorized users can control any individual channel, make edits to schedules, create orders for long-form acquisition, SQL Server 2005 database management and retrieve reports within the system.

Florical systems can be configured for a simple single channel or can be scaled to the needs of large, multichannel, fully redundant operations. As a specialist in centralcasting automation, Florical offers the ShareCasting system that shares broadcast control and media source between a hub and many regional stations.
