Eyeheight to introduce eyeCon diagnostic, status software

At IBC2008, Eyeheight will unveil its new eyeCon software, which allows PC-based control of any Ethernet-equipped module in the company's range.

Integral diagnostics provide instant assurance that the module under interrogation is fully operational by display of a green status light. Gray status indicates that the device does not support status monitoring. Holding the cursor over a red status light then reveals additional information such as loss of input video.

The company also will feature its new LI-1DM compact multidefinition logo inserter with dual independent logo generators and dual independent keyers. The LI-1DM allows HD or SD logos to be uploaded to flash memory, monitored and controlled via Ethernet. Each channel can accommodate logos in any common format including 1080i, 1080p25, 1080p30, 720p, 625 and 525 SDI.
