Eyeheight introduces legalEyesMDi multidefinition legalizer

Eyeheight's legalEyes ensure correct video levels for SD and HD.

Eyeheight has introduced a new range of video legalizers.

The new multidefinition legalEyesMDi accepts 1080i and 720p HD as well as 625i PAL and 525i NTSC SD. It automatically senses and adapts to the incoming signal format.

Occupying a compact half-width 1RU, the new legalizer is designed for stand-alone and rack-mounted applications. It enables program producers and editors to ensure that the level of their video signals remains within the strict tolerances required for HD and SD transmission to air and DVD mastering. Levels can be monitored continuously and manually or automatically corrected. legalEyesMDi incorporates high speed Ethernet connectivity allowing easy interfacing to third-party control systems.
