EVS to show new products, upgrades at IBC2008

At IBC2008, EVS will present new products and upgrades for its tapeless solutions for sports, studios and TV news production. XNet[2] is a new hybrid SDTI and GigE network system for media exchange in any live and near-live production workflows.

The EVS Media Importer is a plug-in option directly integrated into the Final Cut Pro interface that allows operators to search for clips and media available on the EVS XT[2] server and import them onto the time line editor.

Show attendees will also be able to see the latest version of the IPDirector suite. This new generation of IPDirector offers a live time line editor for real-time rough cut editing and a new advanced browsing interface that allows access to online and nearline media available across the XNet[2] GigE network.
