EVS plays key role in sports arenas

EVS Broadcast Equipment continues to expand its presence in stadiums throughout North America. Major stadiums, including those of the Dallas Mavericks, Boston Bruins and Stanford University, have opted to upgrade their arenas’ playout abilities with EVS servers and related software solutions.

The stadiums will give the fans all the benefits of watching the game on TV, such as instant replays, multiple camera angles, graphics and highlights packages, to enhance the live experience. Many stadiums are in the process of upgrading to the same EVS instant tapeless technology used by large studios and mobile truck units.
