Dolby to showcase Dolby E with OmniTek TQ

Dolby will use the OmniTek TQ high-performance waveform monitor to showcase its Dolby E solution at IBC2007.

The OmniTek TQ will provide a complete decode of the Dolby E metadata with PPMs, logging and alarms warning of any error conditions.

OmniTek's Dolby E monitoring and metadata decoding package is available as an option on both the XR and TQ waveform monitors. It provides broadcast engineers with a comprehensive display of the PPM meters and other metadata parameters contained in Dolby E data streams.
