Compix Media introduces AutoCast version 2.1

Compix Media released AutoCast version 2.1 at NAB2008. The application creates and automates playlists of video graphics created with Compix’s GenCG software. The application enables users of any Compix Live Video Graphics system to create graphics templates. Text and images can be placed into the template manually or through a number of automation options. Once the playlist is built, AutoCast sequences and cues each integrated graphic image for live playout.

Via Chyron’s Intelligent Interface protocol, AutoCast version 2.1 and the Compix Media Live Video Graphic systems will operate with the leading broadcast and news automation systems. Dynamic text displays — such as sports scores, weather updates or election results — can be automatically updated and integrated into graphics templates from dynamic Web sites in real time and played over live video feeds.
