Camera Corps picks Leader dual-link analyzer

In order to diagnose and maintain its cameras, Camera Corps, an OB support facility in the UK, has invested in a Leader LV5800 HD/SD-SDI multistandard waveform monitor. The LV5800 analyzer offers 1080p HD signal handling via a dual link interface and also displays eye patterns.

The LV5800 enables multiple SDI or HD-SDI sources to be studied simultaneously. Eight sources can be monitored at once using automatic alarm settings to sense level, rise time, fall time and jitter. Four channels can be displayed simultaneously. Automatic signal detection allows the LV5800 to sense the input format, colorimetry and black burst or trilevel external reference input. User presets can be stored on a standard USB memory, which will also hold screen images, configuration settings and software and firmware updates.
