BUG.tv ships Mac-based Class-R A/V ingest server

The Class-R is a Mac-based multichannel and multiformat ingest server. Up to four SDI video channels can be ingested simultaneously, in SD and HD. Class-R supports many control protocols.

Files can be saved in numerous formats, including DV and native Final Cut Pro project. Metadata information can be entered on the fly during the ingest process. Final Cut users can start working directly by simply opening the saved project folder, accessing both the video files and the compatible metadata information. The instant replay feature lends it to sport-oriented applications.
