Axon releases Cortex control software

Axon has released Cortex, a new, free configuration and monitoring tool for its Synapse interface products. Cortex incorporates all the functionality of previous Axon software tools to configure, monitor and maintain a Synapse system using a single application.

The settings for the Synapse modules can be configured in a similar way to Synapse Setup, but in addition, Cortex shows a GUI that provides more information when configuring more complex modules.

Significant options for Cortex are currently being developed to enhance the monitoring and control of other Axon as well as third-party equipment, providing clients with a tool to compliment the ultimate modular broadcast system.
