AMWA May meeting looks at file-based workflows

The next Advanced Media Workflow Association (AMWA) meeting, to be held Santa Fe, NM, May 19-21, will focus on current projects including AS-03, MXF program delivery, MXF AS-02, MXF versioning and BXF/MXF mapping — all subjects relevant to broadcasters about to implement new broadcast automation projects.

The May 20 agenda includes a panel on real-world experiences with file-based workflows and a presentation on the current and future usage of MXF, BXF, AAF formats and standards by Chris Lennon, Harris, and Ian Wimsett, Red Bee Media. These will be made available as a webinar for those unable to attend the meeting.
