ABS-CBN Philippines adds satellite channels with Etere

Philippine broadcaster ABC-CBN (Alto Broadcasting System-Chronicle Broadcasting Network) has chosen Etere Automation for its latest satellite channels; ABS-CBN already runs more than 20 Etere channels in its facility and the modularity of the automation system allows simple expansion.

Currently, ABS-CBN uses the following Etere modules: Disaster Recovery, Web, Browsing, Transcoding and Media Manager. These modules control a SeaChange BMS video server, two ingest VTRs, an Evertz logo inserter and a Quartz router

ABS-CBN manages its archives with Etere Disaster Recovery.
