Broadcast Engineer

Miami HEAT is looking for a Broadcast Engineer to join the Broadcast Services department of the AmericanAirlines Arena. 

This position will assist with all technical aspects and the day-to-day operations of the Arena’s broadcast systems, infrastructure and digital signage systems. Candidates require at least 3 years of engineering experience with service, operation, and maintenance of broadcast equipment such as video servers, cameras, VTRs, graphic and non-linear editing systems. 

Applicants must possess a strong working knowledge of computer systems (hardware and software), networks, as they relate to the broadcast environment and live data stream processing. Applicants must also possess excellent problem-solving and communication skills (written/verbal). The Broadcast Engineer will serve as a technical point person for Events will provide support for all live and remote productions as needed. 

Successful candidate will have personal transportation, valid driver’s license, ability to travel and be able to work extended and/or irregular hours including nights, weekends, and holidays, as needed.
