Yes Productions of New Orleans Purchases Nine Ikegami Portable HDTV Cameras
Yes Productions, a wholly owned subsidiary of WYES in New Orleans, recently purchased nine Ikegami HDK-79EC Full-Digital Portable HD cameras and SE79D System Expander kits for its new 53-foot expando mobile HD production truck.

The SE79D expander kit quickly converts the HDK-79EC into a full field or studio configuration camera by allowing it to be outfitted with a nine-inch viewfinder and full studio or field ‘box’ lens in minutes. This ensures that Yes meets its customer’s needs, whatever combination of handheld and studio-style cameras the production requires.

The multiformat HDK-79EC provides the option of 180i, 720p or 1080/24p HD and uses 2.2 million pixel 2/3-inch FIT CCDs. Other notable features include HD-SDI output from the camera head, on-line diagnostics and a low center of gravity.
