Stagetec introduces intercom interface for AURUS

The interface includes new buttons and rotary controls integrated into the central section of AURUS.

At IBC2005, Salzbrenner Stagetec MediaGroup introduced its AURUS digital mixing console with a new interface that integrates intercom functionality into the console’s surface.

At the convention, the company showed the console interfaced with the Riedel Artist intercom system.

The new interface puts the function of an entire intercom subscriber unit in the console. The interface includes new buttons and rotary controls integrated into the central section of AURUS. LED displays show the names of the available subscriber units. The intercom interface supports 40 different targets.
