Sony Selects Venue Service Group To Build MVP Mobile Production Trailers
Sony Electronics has selected Venue Service Group to design and build video production trailers, which Sony will sell under the name Mobile Video Producer (MVP). Sony will offer SD and HD versions of the MVP, with prices ranging from $500,000 to $1,500,000.

The MVP is a 24-foot mobile production trailer with equipment comparable to what’s typically found in high-end full-sized vehicles, including up to six cameras, a production switcher, monitoring, video recorders, broadcast graphics, and a full I/O panel. The trailer can be towed using any vehicle with the proper hitching equipment.

Sony displayed its MVP-02 trailer at NAB2007. This XDCAM-based unit has three Sony HDCW 300 cameras and one PDWF-350 XDCAM Camcorder, an MVS-200 switcher, Sony Luma Monitoring, a Chryon LX CG, and a Mackie 16X4 Audio console.
