Rohde & Schwarz to Showcase DVB-H Options
At IBC2004 in Amsterdam, Rohde & Schwarz will introduce options that enable the integration of the new DVB-H standard in its gear.

DVB-H allows broadcasters to transmit multimedia content to mobile receivers. DVB-H options will be available for the R&S DVRG MPEG-2 recorder/generator and the R&S DVM MPEG-2 analyzer family.

The Munich-based developer of T&M and transmission gear will also showcase its R&S SFU Broadcast Test System, now offering test transmitter functions for DVB-T with DVB-H and DVB-S2 broadcast services.

Another product to debut is the air-cooled R&S NX800 medium-power UHF transmitter for analog and digital TV. The 19" LSI exciter occupies one height unit. The models for analog and digital TV differ only in their exchangeable input board.

Rohde & Schwarz will be in Booth 8.250 at IBC2004, Sept. 10-14. For more information, visit http://www.ibc.org/.
