Rohde & Schwarz Reports $1.9 Billion in Revenue

Rohde & Schwarz reported that net revenues of $1.9 billion for its fiscal year, July 2007 to June 2008, were “comparable” to last year. The Munich, Germany electronics firm indicated strong sales, particularly for test and measurement and broadcast equipment.

President and CEO Michael Vohrer said the company reinvested about 16 percent of net revenues into research and development and created 220 new positions over the last fiscal year. It also expanded its presence in the Asian market, opening a new headquarters in Singapore.
