Quantel to introduce Revolver

At IBC2006, Quantel will show its full generationQ product range, which includes systems for the digital intermediate, color correction, post, graphics and broadcast.

IBC2006 sees the European launch of Newsbox HD, which has everything a broadcaster needs to produce the highest quality results with the shortest flight time to air. Quantel also will highlight its sQ server-based integrated production systems for content creation, management and delivery.

At IBC, the company will introduce a new, affordable entry-level nonlinear color correction system with all the features of the 2K and 4K Pablo systems. Pablo HD is designed to make high-resolution color correction a creative and profitable proposition. Other new developments for post and DI include:

  • Revolver, a new way to manipulate colors quickly, accurately and intuitively. It works directly in the image, eliminating the need for time-consuming keying.
  • V3.6 software for the full iQ, eQ and Pablo range. It offers several new features, such as history archive, multi-resolution commit, cascade input selection in color and hsl fettle.
