Panasonic P2 Mobile Recorder Player Hits Market
Panasonic said its new P2 HD mobile recorder/player is now available. Building on the features of a predecessor, the AJ-HPM110, is said to add native 1080/24p recording, a 1080/24PsF I/O and longer record times.

The multiple frame-rate unit has six P2 card slots for up to four hours of AVC-Intra 1080p/24 recording on 32 GB cards, for example. It has a 9-inch LCD monitor for viewing clip thumbnails.

The HPM110 is available at a suggested list price of $12,000.
