ONLINE: Netflix Pics Up More Disney-ABC Fare

BEVERLY HILLS, CALIF.: Netflix and Disney-ABC Television Group have reached an agreement to make several TV series available to the online movie rental service. The deal allows Netflixers access to the first five seasons of ABC’s “Lost,” seasons four and five “Desperate Housewives,” season five of “Grey's Anatomy,” and seasons one and two of “Legend of the Seeker” from ABC Studios.

Many of the episodes, including the first four seasons of “Lost,” became available as of Aug.1. The remainder will be available in subsequent months, starting in September.

The agreement extends the online relationship between Netflix and Disney-ABC, which first paired last September for day-after broadcast streaming rights to “Hannah Montana,” “Wizards of Waverly Place,” “The Suite Life on Deck,” and other Disney Channel programs.
