NY1 Celebrates 15 Years
NY1 News, Time Warner Cable’s 24-hour news channel, kicked off its 15th anniversary Sept. 7 with a slew of specials commemorating its launch and its first years of programming.

The station featured “NY1 Making History,” an hourlong special covering the years 1992-93, and “NY1 The Beginning,” a news segment showing “how and why” the station started.

Sept. 8, the channel featured a second news segment, “NY1 the Impact,” covering the relevance of NY1 News for New Yorkers.

The celebration continues with more special programming and a NY1 Alumni/Current Staff Reunion Party at the Conference Center at the Time Warner Center at Columbus Circle in New York Sept. 24.
