New Panasonic P2 Camera Satisfies SATIS Judges
Panasonic's new AJ-HPX3000 camera, the top of the company's P2 HD line, bested tough competition to earn the SatisFecit award for best production product at SATIS 2007, France's premier audiovisual technology expo, attended by 20,000 professionals.

The SatisFecit award recognizes innovative products that solve problems, make daily work easier, and/or represent a dramatic improvement in cost effectiveness.

Designed for high-end digital production of commercials, sports, documentaries, and movies, the AJ-HPX3000 comes equipped with five P2 card slots and a side-mounted, 3.5-inch colour LCD monitor, this P2 HD camcorder combines performance and reliability. Features include interchangeable lenses, high-density 2.2-million pixel CCDs for full-HD (1920×1080p) 10-bit resolution, and advanced 14-bit digital signal processing.

Judges for the SatisFecit award comprised a distinguished panel of French production, postproduction, and video professionals. André Métérian, manager for Panasonic Broadcast in France, accepted the award.
