Miranda introduces Kaleido-X multi-image display, router solution

Miranda Technologies has launched Kaleido-X, which combines multiroom, multi-image display with HD and SD routing in a single, expandable chassis.

As a multi-image processor, each Kaleido-X chassis can display 96 HD, SD or analog inputs any number of times, in any size, across eight displays at any resolution and orientation, without blocking or grouping restrictions.

All multi-image outputs can be grouped to create large, integrated monitoring systems. Alternatively, each output can be controlled completely independently for multiroom environments, using one or more remote control panels.

As a router, Kaleido-X offers switching of 96 unprocessed inputs to 48 HD/SD outputs. The router outputs can be controlled by on-screen menus, a remote panel, the iRouter application and by master control or production switchers' auxiliary bus controls.

Kaleido-X also offers the ability to monitor up to 2304 channels of audio, including embedded, discrete AES or discrete analog.
