Ikegami And Toshiba Team Up On Tapeless Video Production System
Ikegami and Toshiba have signed an agreement to collaborate in the development of an advanced tapeless video production and editing system. The system will include a professional camera and video recorder using Flash memory for increased capacity and improved performance at lower cost compared to tape.

Slated to see the light of day in April 2008, the system will support all stages of production, from news acquisition to archiving.

Ikegami and Toshiba plan to announce specifics on products at NAB2007.
