IEEE Broadcast Symposium Scheduled
The 55th Annual IEEE Broadcast Symposium will be held Oct. 12-14, 2005 at the Hotel Washington in Washington, D.C.

The event will open on Wednesday with a full day of mobile and multimedia broadcasting presentations followed by an evening session and panel on technical regulatory issues. On Thursday, sessions on audio broadcasting and DTV system performance and measurements will be conducted. Social activities on Thursday
include the joint AFCCE/IEEE luncheon as well as the annual evening reception. Sessions on Friday will cover satellite broadcasting and distributed transmission, with a panel discussion on the latter subject to convene in the afternoon. The Annual Broadcast Society Awards luncheon will be held on Friday as well.
