2006 HPA Tech Retreat Seeks Presenters, Registrations

TV guru Mark Schubin, chair of the 2006 HPA Tech Retreat, is now accepting proposals for presentations.

Topics may include anything associated with TV and related technologies--asset management, bit-rate reduction, broadcast, cable, consumer physical media, digital cinema, editing, fiber, graphics, IPTV, rights management, satellite, servers and more.

There are several ways you can share information about new and emerging technologies--demonstrating technologies in a demo room, moderate a roundtable breakfast or sponsor one of the various events at the retreat. The retreat focuses on the latest and most signification information in broadcast, TV, post-production, cable, telecom, digital content and distribution and other related businesses and industries.

Please e-mail Schubin at tvmark@earthlink.net outlining the subject and scope of what would be presented. HPA is now taking registrations for the event, to be held Feb. 21-24, 2006 at the Rancho Las Palmas Marriot in Rancho Mirage; for more information visit the HPA Online Web site at www.hpaonline.com.
