GlobeCast to spotlight DVB-H mobile TV, IPTV, HDTV

At IBC2006, GlobeCast will showcase its innovations in DVB-H mobile TV, MPEG-4 IPTV, HDTV, and the WING store and broadcast IP-based remote playout system.

GlobeCast is developing partnerships for a DVB-H broadcast to mobile handset, which allows for mass market, multicast distribution of television in a true broadcast format.

Additionally, GlobeCast provides telecoms with IPTV solutions, including both MPEG-2 and MPEG-4 channels, as well as plays a key role in the distribution of HDTV content, including the recently concluded 2006 FIFA World Cup tournament.

GlobeCast also will demonstrate its WING store and broadcast system, an IP-based solution for remote-controlled playout and program substitution.
