Color, Post, Standards, Softball on Lineup at 2008 Technology Retreat
Registration is now for the Hollywood Post Alliance 2008 Technology Retreat, Feb. 19-22 at the Rancho Las Palmas Resort & Spa in Rancho Mirage, Calif.

The HPA hasn’t released the complete agenda yet, but last year’s topics included ATSC’s Advanced Common Application Platform (ACAP) for interactive television, plus color and post issues along with marketplace discussions.

The retreat has featured a softball game that also serves as a technology showcase.

HDTV contractor Charles Poynton, formerly of Sun Microsystems, will return for pre-retreat seminars.

The topic for the Weds., Feb. 20 supersession has not yet been announced. HPA says complete program information will be available at the beginning of December.

Registration is available at www.hpaonline.com.

The retreat has sold out the last seven years.
