Bluefish444 to rollout Rage N|Code HD MPEG-2 HD encoder

At IBC2006, Bluefish444 will introduce the Rage N|Code HD, a real-time MPEG-2 HD encoding video compression system for all HDTV resolutions.

The new Bluefish444 system is based on the company’s HD|Fury single-link HD/SD SDI I/O card and its Symmetry acquisition, review and play-out software, and incorporates Aspex’ Accelara HD MPEG encoder PCI-X card. The product offers plug-and-play acceleration of MPEG-2 encoding within third-party software applications, such as Adobe Premiere Pro 2.

The Bluefish444 Rage N|Code HD is fully software-programmable and provides a future-proof upgrade path to additional codecs.

Applications include HD archiving, real-time compressed HD export from Adobe Premiere Pro, multi-channel SD compressed ingest, live streaming applications, post production and digital content creation and HD-DVD/Blu-Ray authoring.

See Bluefish at IBC2006 stand 7.311 or visit: www.bluefish444.com.
