ATSC-SBE Co-Sponsor ENG Technology Seminar
The Advanced Television Systems Committee and the Society of Broadcast Engineers are co-sponsoring a half-day seminar of Feb. 21 in Palm Springs, Calif. The event is to be held in conjunction with the Annual Hollywood Post Alliance Technology Retreat there.

Chriss Scherer, SBE president, said, "The technologies and ideas covered during this summit are at the core focus of TV broadcast engineers and SBE members. This educational opportunity will provide a concentrated focus on current and future issues in ENG."

Nine sessions are scheduled. Topics include frequency coordination, data return link issues, codec development and high-definition challenges. Attendees will receive credit toward SBE recertification.
