Veteran Film Editors to Keynote NAB New York

Oscar-nominated editor Craig McKay and award-winning editor Chris Franklin are the designated keynoters for NAB New York: Content Creation+.

McKay, a two-time Oscar nominee for the film "Reds," and for "The Silence of the Lambs," also worked on "Philadelphia" and "The Manchurian Candidate." He also won an Emmy Award for his editing on the TV miniseries, "Holocaust."

Franklin has cut thousands of TV spots, including recent campaigns for American Express, DHL, New York Lottery and Mastercard. He has edited two feature films "The Independent" starring Janeane Garofalo and Jerry Stiller, and "Comedian" with Jerry Seinfeld. Franklin has won seven Association of Independent Creative Editors awards for his spot work.

NAB New York is happening Oct. 23-26 at the Javits Convention Center in New York.
