The Society of Motion Picture and Television Engineers (SMPTE) and the Video Services Forum (VSF) have extended the Call for Papers for the 2008 joint conference planned by the two organizations.
The event, scheduled for Feb 10-13, 2008 in Houston focuses on the increasing interdependency of technologies common to both motion imaging and video transport services.
The original deadline for papers for this event had been Oct. 12. It has been extended until 5:00 p.m. EST on Nov. 9.
