Sky Sports News is investing in eight Chyron HyperX2 HD/SD switchable graphics platforms with Lyric PRO, and a CAMIO suite of Newsroom Graphics software for integration with Avid iNews for its daily, 18-hour sport news channel. The systems will go on air later this month for the beginning of the 2007 Football Season.
HyperX2 will also enable the channel's trademark 'L' shape look that combines results, news stories, statistics, tables and breaking news, from a variety of data sources. The network will also use Chyron for the majority of its ‘Soccer Saturday’ programming.
