RF Central Ships RFX-CMT-II Camera Transmitters

Microwave technology provider RF Central is now shipping its RFX-CMT-II camera-mounted transmitter. The unit offers HD upgradeability along with low-delay HD encoding technology.
With inputs of an HD, SDI or ASI signal, this new product is designed for live news and sports coverage. Its linear RF amplification technology limits spectral re-growth at full power to less than -35dBc, offering robust RF performance with adjacent channel rejection. The CMT-II is offered presently in the 2GHz frequency band. Other frequencies are available upon request.
“RF Central prides itself at providing alternatives and sophisticated technology for today’s broadcasters,” says RF Central CEO Jeff Winemiller. “The RFX-CMT-II is representative of that mission. We are happy that this product is now available to broadcast professionals – especially at a time when many are being impacted by the BAS relocation project.”
The product is software-upgradeable to full HD capability and is available to interface with Anton Bauer, IDX, PAG and other batteries (to be specified at time of order) or 11-16 VDC (18W) via 4-pin Lemo socket.
