NAB Seeks Entries For 2007 International Broadcasting Excellence Award

NAB announced that entries are being sought for the 2007 International Broadcasting Excellence Awards. The awards will be presented during NAB2007, April 14 - 19, in Las Vegas.

Created by NAB in 1995, the awards recognize international NAB member broadcast stations, channels or groups that have demonstrated exceptional leadership and uniqueness in successfully serving their listening or viewing audiences through broadcast innovation or commitment to community. Winners of the 2006 International Broadcasting Excellence Award were Korean Broadcasting System (KBS) and Ghana's Joy 99.7 FM.

To enter, NAB international member terrestrial, cable or satellite stations should submit an entry form by February 16. For details on the award and how to enter, please visit www.nab.org/InternationalAward.

Award recipients will be chosen by an executive committee. Only current NAB international broadcaster members are eligible to apply. If your station is not currently an NAB international broadcaster member, but you would like to nominate your station, you may join NAB using the NAB international membership website.
