Pixel Power Clarity 2000, Clarity 50 & Clarity LoGo

Pixel Power will be introducing entry-level and Pro-AV variations at IBC2006. Clarity 2000 is aimed at smaller broadcasters, giving users full HD capabilities and an easy to use feature set. The Clarity 50 broadcast and production character generator builds upon Clarity's architecture to provide a cost-effective 1RU character generator that's suitable for smaller facilities yet sacrifices nothing in functionality. For branding and logos, there's the low-cost Clarity LoGo, featuring both HD and SD. The system can be triggered by GPI, serial or Ethernet TCP/IP-based automation protocols and includes multiple layers of static and animated logos, clocks and crawls.

Pro-Bel Morpheus Control and Monitoring & Morpheus Gateway

Morpheus Control and Monitoring is the latest addition to Pro-Bel's Morpheus Automation and Playout platform. Besides containing new features for broadcast system management, it allows users to customize interfaces to suit their taste. Morpheus Gateway, the latest addition to the Media Management platform, allows delivery of files by third parties seamlessly straight into a given system.

Quantel Pablo HD & Revolver

Pablo HD is an entry-level non-linear high-resolution color correction system which maintains all the features of Pablo 2K and 4K. Revolver is an application for colorists that works directly in an image, eliminating the need for keying, and comes standard on all Pablo models.

Quantum SDLT 600A Professional Video Drive & Super DLTape II

Quantum will be showing the SDLT 600A, the first data tape drive that's enhanced for professional video. The drive features a tape-based file system and MXF-aware network-attached storage. It will be shown in rackmount, tabletop and automated versions.

Designed for use with the SDLT 600A, each Super DLTape II cartridge has a native capacity of 300 GB and holds more than 6 hours of HD content. The tapes feature their own file system directories and have an expected archival life of 30 years.

ScheduALL Web Products, Media Manager, Media Connected Services, Contract Manager & SNG Truck Manager

ScheduALL's Web Products suite of browser-based products includes WebScheduler, which gives remote ability to search, request and modify client-scheduled work orders across an entire facility network, and WebLibrary, used to organize media assets.

Media Manager is a customizable online media library management system that maintains metadata information and supports versioning control.

Media Connected Services is an open XML API interface for ScheduALL and ScheduLINK that provides them the ability to function as the central workflow management system.
In the realm of electronic contracting, ScheduALL is offering Contract Manager, which givers users the ability to track and monitor individual customer accounts at the operational level.

SNG Truck Manager allows broadcasters to integrate satellite activation and deactivation into their workflow, plus users can activate, transmit or deactivate with the push of a button.

Scopus Video Networks NMS-7000 & MPEG-4 H.264

Scopus will be introducing the NMS-7000 modular management platform at IBC this year. Based on carrier-class architecture, this customizable product provides service-level management for video networks and headends.

Also being shown is the MPEG-4 H.264 decoding solution, for use with MPEG-4 or MPEG-2 SD content.

Shotoku TP-90 Pneumatic Pedestal with TE-23 Pan/Tilt Head, SH-100 Lightweight Aluminum Head/Tripods, TG-19 Pan/Tilt Head and TI-12 Height Drive

Shotoku is officially debuting the TP-90 Pneumatic Pedestal with TE-23 Pan/Tilt Head at IBC. The pedestal is built on the design of the TP-80 and has a record-breaking column stroke reach of 37.2 inches. A new and improved column lock and a brake ring that's in reach of the operator while in use round out the TP-90's safety features. The lightweight TE-23 has a payload of 132 pounds and features the REULAUX perfect balance system.

The SH-100 perfect-balance ENG fluid head will be accompanied by aluminum tripod models TDA100 2-stage, TSA100 single stage and TT-66 4-stage.

In robotics, Shotoku has the TG-19 Pan/Tilt Head and the TI-12 Height Drive. The TG-19 has a maximum payload of 154 pounds and is has manual control capability and can learn an operator's movements and replay them perfectly and repeatedly. The TI-12 Robotic Height Drive is ideal for sports and news in that a wide variety of camera angles can be obtained from a single position. Its 39-inch height range is an industry first.
