NEW YORK: Dave Lougee, president of Gannett’s broadcast division, has been named vice chairman of the board of the Television Bureau of Advertising. Additionally, Peter Dunn, president of CBS Television Stations, and Jane Williams, vice president of sales for Cox Media Group, have joined the TVB board.
Lougee, featured in the July, 2008 edition of Television Broadcast, has overseen Gannett’s 23 television stations since July 2007. He was previously executive vice president of media operations for Belo and in charge of the company’s 19 TV stations and four cable news operations outside of Dallas. In 2005, he was a senior vice president of Belo. He joined Belo in 1998 as news director at KING-TV in Seattle, becoming president and general manager of Belo’s TV and cable operations in Seattle/Tacoma in 2000.
Peter Dunn was named to his present position last month and oversees the operations of the CBS 29 O&O TV stations. He was previously president and general manager of WCBS-TV, president of sales for the CBS Television Stations, and president and general manager of the CBS Philadelphia duopoly, KYW-TV and WPSG-TV.
Williams has been in her present position since January 2009 and previously served as vice president of sales for Cox Television and general sales manager at WSB-TV.
