Experience Avid/DNA Tour Kicks Off

On May 13, Avid Technology will launch its "Experience Avid/DNA" tour, a two-month trek that spans nine cities in the U.S. and Canada, to give customers a look at its NAB product line, including the DNA family, DS Nitris, Media Composer, Adrenaline and Xpress Pro with Mojo, among others.
"Experience Avid/DNA" features one-day events that include five hour and a half educational sessions between 9:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. as well as lunch and presentation by an Avid exec. Attendees can choose from sessions that include "The HD Advantage: Power, Performance and Productivity," "The Ultimate Finishing System: Avid DS Nitris" and "Real Time, Anytime: Avid Xpress Pro with Avid Mojo."
The tour will also show new products from Digidesign and Softimage, Avid's audio and 3D/animation businesses, and how they can integrate with Avid's editing systems.
