Crispin Offers Turnkey Package With Grass Valley

Crispin Corporation, a leading worldwide provider of broadcast automation software, equipment, services and support, is now offering a series of new, pre-configured entry-level equipment packages for small-to-mid-sized broadcasters and content providers that combine Crispin’s RapidPlayX software with the entire family of Grass Valley broadcast servers, including the new Grass Valley K2 media server, M-Series iVDR (intelligent video digital recorder) or Profile XP Media Platform servers.

These new preconfigured packages (Crispac-K2, Crispac-XP and Crispac-M) have been specially developed and priced for Grass Valley customers in the US, Canada and South America.

All three offerings present a distinct entry-level automation package for customers with one or two channels of ingest and playout. Additionally, customers can upgrade to more robust solutions by applying the full price of their initial Crispin purchase towards a more powerful solution.

Starting at $3,995, all three packages include Crispin’s RapidPlayX software which allows complete control of multiple play-to-air channels as well as automatic record schedules. The application is highly configurable, providing multiple views of the same schedule and even mix fields of different schedules in the same view. RapidPlayX automatically loads daily program and record schedules for 7/27 operations and instantly updates events when new material is available on Grass Valley video servers.

The Grass Valley family of servers include the SD 4 channel M-series with DVCPRO and MPEG support, the market share leader, Profile XP with 2-8 channels and SAN configurations up to 64 channels for both SD and HD, and the new K2 Media Server with it’s advanced client-server architecture that range from 2 to over 100 channels for both SD and HD.
