vsn Shows Broadcast Automation for Third-Party Systems
Video Stream Networks (vsn) will showcase the vsnmulticon 80-channel broadcast automation system, which provides full control of all devices in the MCR and/or PCR. The vsnmulticon is compatible with such VDCP servers as Omneon, EVS, Thomson Grass Valley, Sony, and Avid/Pinnacle. Offering multichannel automation and various levels of redundancy, the vsnmulticon also manages tape robots, subtitling systems, and graphics from many third parties.

Also shown will be vsntraffic, a scalable multi-department traffic and management system that manages content, costs and advertising, along with multichannel playlists and blocks. The vsntraffic system is based on Web technology (HTML and Java), so no client software is needed.

vsn will continue to reinforce its “HD Commitmment” in Europe that guarantees an HD upgrade price for 18 months.
