Video Technics Upgrades Apella
Videotechnics recently released a new version of its Apella Video Clip Server (VCS) 2.7. The new version of the VCS is compatible with the Pathfire Media Gateway, Sony XDCAM, and Panasonic DVCPro P2.

New features include enhanced time delay and instant replay and integration with Pathfire Digital Media Gateway interface.

With the VT Archive Printer, users can archive low- and high-resolution media as well as user-defined thumbnails and metatdata though local and network DVD printing. The VT Archive Jukebox supports archive and media retrieval.
