TSL Audio Monitoring Products to Make U.S. Debut at NAB2007
The professional products division of TSL, an independent systems integrator, will showcase its audio monitoring products, including the TallyMan Under Monitor Display system.

The AMU2-8HD Dolby is the latest version of TSL's flagship audio monitoring solution, providing a solution for HD/SDI master control, play-out, production and outside broadcast monitoring requirements. The AMU2-8HD is HD, and fully Dolby E and D compatible and several features to improve usability.

The new In Monitor Display system allows dynamic UMD information and dual tallies to be displayed directly in-picture on flatscreen monitors. The system is designed as a fully integrated addition to the established TallyMan system to give a new monitoring option positioned between multiviewers and traditional UMDs. A TallyMan system can run multiviewers, conventional UMDs and the new IMDs side by side in the same system as required.

Designed to work with both 4:3 and 16:9 sources and displays, the system offers a variety of display modes that allow the UMD and tallies to be displayed in picture or below the picture as required. The modular IMD system offers both dual channel composite and dual channel SDI connectivity in each module with up to 16 modules equivalent to 32 channels of IMD in a 3 RU rack.

New additions to the TallyMan UMD and Tally studio control system include the TM1 and TM2 system controllers, the heart of a Tallyman solution, which run the TallyMan program as an embedded Windows application allowing real-time control of the system. TallyMan systems are available from low cost entry-level systems with everything in one box right up to large-scale systems with several controllers and associated peripherals networked together. Additions to the range include the ESP-1R system expander, which extends the serial and parallel connections.

TSL will be in booth SU14615.
