The Systems Group Introduces DTV Master Control Program
The Systems Group debuted its MasterPlan master control program for DTV, which the company says contains all the equipment, logistics and documentation to solve a station's needs, and can speed the adoption of complex and varied master control systems. The program identifies the best systems for stations or origination centers by analyzing cost-effective industry trends and opportunities. Then, TSG works with manufacturers and matches features and functions that target an organization's needs, plans and budget goals.

The MasterPlan's options include automation systems that enable unattended automatic recordings; switching and control systems that feature 2D/3D/DVE; upconversion gear that enables local productions to be featured in HDTV; and an ATSC multiplexer with five inputs for each channel or service.
