Telecast to Debut CopperHead for GV Infinity at IBC
Telecast Fiber Systems will arrive at the IBC show with a number of new products, including its CopperHead INF, a camera-mounted transceiver designed to work with Thomson Grass Valley’s Infinity camcorder.

The CopperHead INF allows the Infinity to be used both as a camcorder and as part of a multiple camera production. The device mounts between the camcorder and its battery and bidirectionally delivers HD-SDI, composite video, intercom, genlock reference, audio and camera control signals via a single fiber-optic cable. SMPTE hybrid cable can also be used for interconnectivity should users desire to remotely power the Infinity.

The associated base station occupies 1 RU and fits easily into production vehicles and flypacks.

Telecast will also show new SDI modules for its Viper II line of video transport equipment.

Telecast Fiber Systems Inc. will be at Stand 10.B39.
