Tandberg Television Launches Multiformat Decoder
Tandberg Television will introduce a new professional multiformat MPEG-2/MPEG-4 AVC SD/HD decoder at NAB2006. The MPEG-4 AVC professional receiver will enable network operators and broadcasters to deliver both SD and HD content from studio to studio and across networks to regional head-ends and affiliates.

Tandberg Television also will introduce an integrated suite of on-demand and interactive tools that are designed to enable enhanced television services and the introduction of interactive and non-linear advertising.

Digital satellite and electronic newsgathering solutions (DSNG and DENG) based on Tandberg Television's HD MPEG-4 AVC compression engine will also be showcased at the company's booth. These two latest additions to the Tandberg Voyager range of content acquisition systems will be featured in live demonstrations in the NAB Outside Broadcast Arena at the Las Vegas Convention Center.

Tandberg Television will be in Booth SU1164.
