Studer Upgrades Vista Software
Digital console-maker Studer released Version 4.0 of the operating system for its Vista consoles at the NAB Show.

Version 4.0 adds features of use to broadcasters along with expanding features useful to live sound applications.

A new dynamics package, Vintage Dynamics, includes several “retro” plug-ins; notably a compressor-gate/expander. Also new are 5.1 surround-sound input sources, 5.1 group and master management systems.

For live sound operations, there is a new VST plug-ins interface and engine and several GUI and workflow efficiency improvements.

WMUR-TV Says FAA Drone Rules Preclude ENG
