Streambox to Launch Portable Video Transport Solutions
Streambox will launch rugged versions of its Portable Video Transport system for mobile newsgathering, emergency response, and armed forces operations. Utilizing the ACT-L3 codec and proprietary compression technologies, the system is integrated into a compact portable device.

The new 1 RU Streambox SBT3-5200 also uses the ACT-L3 codec and proprietary compression technologies for transmitting broadcast video in real time over any IP- or satellite-based network for live news broadcasts or distribution to cable head-ends.

Streambox will announce the release of a next-generation store-and-forward feature that extends the capabilities of all Streambox systems to better support storage, management, and transmission of HD and SD video streams over IP-based networks.

The new SBT3-9100 HD is an end-to-end HD video transport system that provides full-motion, full-frame 1080i/720p HD broadcast video and audio in real time over satellite and IP-based networks, handling data rates ranging from 512 Kbps to 20 Mbps.

Streambox will be at stand 4.369.
